It is Allah who feeds everyone

It is Allah who feeds everyone

Once upon a time, there was a man named Iqbal Muhammad. He was a good Muslim and a decent person. He used to offer five times salah(Namaz), obey his parents, help the poor and he often used to feed poor people every Friday, the day of Jumu'a. But there was a Friday different from others.

That day he closed his shop and came back to his house early as he does that in every Jumu'a. He had his Gusol(bath) and went to the "Jama-Masjid" to listen to the khutbah(commentary). He was listening the khutbah very carefully. The Khatib(commentator) said – "O the servants of Allah! Establish your prayer and give Zakah(Zakat). And don't kill(abort) your child(embryo) just because you cannot feed it. Don't think you feed your child! It is Allah who feeds everyone but doesn't require to be fed….". On that note Iqbal didn't agree. He was thinking that - "I earn money, buy food and feed people and myself. How can Allah be the feeder?". He said to himself "From now-on I will never eat. Let see who feeds me" and he stopped eating.

One day passed away, two days passed away but he didn't eat. His mother came to him and asked about his fast. He gently replied "I will not eat until Allah feeds me". Another day passes but he was still unfed. His mother was getting worried about her son. She was trying to convenes her son and brake his fast but he wasn't listening to her. His mother called her relatives and neighbors for help. Sensing the trouble Iqbal ran-away from the house and claimed up on a tree and started living there. He spend two more days on that tree until his mother found him. His mother started crying with a plate of delicious foods on her hand asking him to come down but he didn't came. An hour later his mother got-up and walked away hoping that her son will eat those delicious foods when no one can see him eating.

Few moments later a group of robbers were passing by the tree. The leader of that group saw the foods. The robbers become very happy and were going to eat when suddenly the leader heard a sound of a man sneezing, up from the tree. The robbers saw Iqbal and brought him down. The leader of the robbers said "Oh! You the man! You think you can throw some good food to us mixing with poison and can become hero by killing us? No my dear friend, you are wrong. Now you have to finish it all". The robbers forced Iqbal to eat and he couldn't do anything about it. From that day he started believing that "It is Allah, who feeds everyone but doesn't require to be fed"…
